Lisa 01.30.10

Lisa is a good friend of mine. These pictures of her were taken at a wedding in January in which she was a bridesmaid. They stand out to me personally because of the vintage kind of feel. The mood these two photographs create is very unique. I think Lisa just brought that right into these images. 

I wanted to share them because of that.

The Kirichenko Family 06.02.10

When Zhanna called me up for this shoot, she asked me about pricing and scheduling and such, & she told me that she wanted a small photo session...just a couple of pictures of Jacob, who had just turned ONE, and some with their new family. When we met up and went to this park (which I understand was kind of like "their" park...you know...the one you always go to), the time went by so fast that we ended up doing an almost full on photoshoot. It was amazing to work with such cooperative and fun people. Even Jacob was able to give us a couple of the very wanted smiles...and as I said before, he's 1.

This couple was very easy going and the happiness in their family was so obvious. It was such a pleasure!!

Vika Mukha 05.02.10

This was a special photoshoot

for me personally...

with someone dear that I really love with all my heart.

Vika, my best friend, and I had been talking about a photoshoot for what was it...like a year! Will it work out in San Francisco (where she lives) or will we somehow have one in Sacramento? It was interesting how it worked out when we least expected. It was a Sunday afternoon and she was preparing to leave home that night after sharing a weekend of adventures in SF as well as Sac. It was a spur of the moment kind of thing...no planning outfits or places or anything else. We just stopped where we wanted and she dished out the couple of outfits she had brought with her for the day-trip...it just all worked out so perfectly!

(except the part how when we left that field, we were both crying and sneezing from the allergy attacks...both of us ended up with the puffiest, watery, red eyes...lol. great memories. totally worth it!!)

Vika's such a beautiful, naturally gorgeous young woman! I was so honored to be able to capture her photogenic face and happy smiles in these photographs.

Vika, I love you, and I will never forget that day or that weekend!!

The Crawford's 04.24.10

This couple was super fun to shoot because of their enthusiasm to taking pictures. They were very comfortable and open to everything, especially this mother-to-be...she is a tree-climber, literally (even in her pregnant state). Everything went very smoothly and we were able to get a great variety of different kind of images. I was so happy with the results,

& even more so pleased with the fact that they loved the photos.

These two are so in love and such happy, enjoyable people,

and that is very evident in the shots that came out.

Can't wait until Baby Crawford is born for another opportunity!!
