Julie & Alex 05.06.11

Julie and Alex radiate a very pure and genuine kind of love. They have a tendency to make the world and everything in it seem to be more wonderful than life itself. They're filled with love and care for people, and it's a real pleasure being around them. Their wedding was simple and as worry-free as any wedding can be. It really represented who they are as a couple and I'm sure everybody there was really able to enjoy the evening. Here are a few of my favorite shots...

Beautiful weather, beautiful location, beautiful couple...this engagement session was cool, fun, and easy-going. We just had a good time hanging out and I even got the honor of having lunch with this couple afterward :))

Between couples, the women are usually more "hands on" and more excited about taking photos together with their boyfriend/fiance/husband, while the men typically aren't so into getting photos taken of them...the girls are always just a little bit more excited...so when the groom in this wedding was the one doing all the talking about photography, it was a bit of a change for me. He had reason though, since he knew a little bit about the topic, and even rented a few lenses for myself and the videographers to use (since they were using DSLR's as well) for the big day.
In the beginning, I'll admit it was a bit nerve-wrecking, photographing for a photographer...however, the jitters all faded as I realized how easy-going both the bride and groom were. The entire wedding party was funny and fun. We all just had a good time! Congrats, you two!! :)
